![]() I was happy that the problem was not related to the amp install. After a couple of minutes, the current draw dropped to around 0.18A and stayed there - I'm not sure if this is high for an SLK ? - but we thought it good enough considering the 1.25A draw initially measured. I then asked my installer to lower the roof. We systematically pulled each fuse out of the engine and cabin fuseboxes (not the trunk fusebox) waiting around 2-3 mins. At the weekend, I arranged to return the car and my audio guy measured a 1.25A draw (engine off key out). ![]() The car suffered a flat battery twice the following week.
